Hello babes! I’m in a shopping mood this weekend, plus I am in dire need of more decent clothings, so I decided to do some real shopping! Oh, did I tell you that I do not own any sport shoes? Meanwhile, all my pumps are either torn or too old to be worn. Therefore, you can imagine my exuberance when I saw the shoes shops are having grand sales! Eventhough it doesn’t make much difference to me since those that I bought are new arrivals without any discount, the sight of 50% 70% banner made me happy!

OMG don’t you love my new clothes and shoes??? I totally heart the waist belt especially! I’ve been looking for one since forever! The sad thing when it comes to finding a waist belt is that most of them are too loose for me X(

Switched To Advertlets

Some nice food I had recently:

Klang bakuteh.



Yes, we drove all the way to Klang for the sake of the famous Bakuteh. The journey wasn’t that long after all, since Uncle Eugene was speeding like mad in Hui’s RX8. 180km/h? Dammit! XD

I helped Eugene prepare this! Looks good and tastes nice. Best eaten with Nando’s peri-peri sauce.

I bet some of you noticed that I’ve removed my Nuffnang Ads from my page. To be frank, I haven’t received any proper ad campaign for months. Over the past few months, I’ve raised my opinion regarding this mentioned problem, however, no action was taken as all that I have are still random ads. Last night, I chatted with Josh Lim and decided to give Advertlets a try, after abandoning it for half a year. As you can see, I’m still keeping my Nuffnang Ads on my fashion blog here, so don’t you accuse me for not being grateful after all the benefits I’ve gained from the company! =P

Meanwhile, I’ll give Advertlets a 1-month-trial. Hopefully it’ll give me a worthwhile return and convince me that I should be part of them. Josh, you won’t disappoint me, will you? =)))

Anyway, I’ve been so fiction-deprived for the past few weeks, so the first thing I did when I came back home was books from Katie babe. I told her now I probably sound like a refined person instead of bimbotic, but she disagreed and said all the books I read are chick-lit! Wtfreak. That’s not true because my favourite books are Shopaholic. . . No no, I mean. . . Jodi Picoult’s! Ha, see? Bimbos would never read Jodi Picoult! Need I say more? XD

I am such a bibliophile! Aren’t you proud of me? Teehee.

Ren from KSCB joined us as his office happened to be somewhere around that area.

A Story Of Insanity

A powerful wizard, who wanted to destroy an entire kingdom, placed a magic potion in the well from which all the inhabitants drank. Whoever drank that water would go mad.

The following morning, the whole population drank from the well and they all went mad, apart from the king and his family, who had a well set aside for them alone, which the magician had not managed to poison. The king was worried and tried to controy the population by issuing a series of edicts governing security and public health. The policemen and the inspectors, however, had also drunk the poisoned water, and they thought the king's decisions were absurd and resolved to take no notice of them.

When the inhabitants of the kingdom heard these decrees, they became convinced that the king had gone mad and was now giving nonsensical orders. They marched on the castle and called for his abdication.

In despair the king prepared to step down from the throne, but the queen stopped him, saying: "Let us drink from the communal well. Then we will be the same as them."

And that was what they did: The king and the queen drank the water of madness and immediately began talking nonsense. Their subjects repented at once; now that the king was displaying such wisdom, why not allow him to continue ruling the country?

The country continued to live in peace, although its inhabitants behaved very differently from those of its neighbours. And the king was able to govern until the end of his days.

Ponder upon the story. How do you relate it to our life? Aren't we living in a world overshadowed by soulless routine and perverse conformity?

Donuts & Delicacies

After keeping myself at home to prevent any further damage due to my recent outbreak of emotion, I’ve decided to let go of the unhappy moments and look up for better days.

And now, I am going to blog about FOOD! Some delicacies I was pampered with for the past few days XD

1. J.CO Donut

The long queue had always made me give up on the finger licking aromatic donuts. But that day, I decided to have a little patience and queue up to buy half a dozen of it. Claim a J.Co donut from me if you can name them all =P



Don’t I look so calm and patient? Without a single grunt, unlike my usual whining self.

“I want a Coach bag!”

It was then he started telling me that his girlfriend has never and would never go to Petaling Street. He even told me how much she abhors shopping in Sg. Wang, contrasting the fact that I had just bumped into them there a few weeks ago.

“Oh, she was forced to be there to get some stuff.”

Yea yea. That sounds very, uhm. . . convincing. LOL. Being puzzled and curious, I asked him where she usually shops at.

“Here loh! *beams proudly*” (we were at Pavilion)

“Okay. . . so she buys LV bags lah?” (was gonna say Gucci, but it’s not opened in Pavilion yet)

“If she wants LV bags then ask her to buy herself. I’m not going to pay for her.”

LMAO. Man, how much I adore you. You are like the best boyfriend in the world! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

I’m about to comment further on the girlfriend, but on second thought, he reads my blog. So, eheh, *runs*

Garn. This was supposed to be a food entry! Not a criticism post!


2. Jarrod & Rawlins

A small luxury place in a mall. There’s a closed door smoking area with a bar counter where the ang moh chill off their evening.

My mushroom soup. So cute leh got a smiley face some more! It tastes really really good unlike the ordinary Campbell.



Olives and dried tomatoes which are supposed to be wrapped with those thin pieces of. . uhm. . i-forgot-what. =x



Bacons and sausage. I have no idea why they looked so horrid under my flash light. Trust me, they taste awesome! So the big sum we paid was actually quite worth it =P



Our later order was these 2sausages served with mustard sauce. Yummy they are, but I still prefer the first one which was “dynamite”.



p/s: you gotta order all you want in one shot because they charged us RM10 for first round grilling and an extra RM5 for our second round O.o


3. Dome

Believe it or not, it was my first time to step into Dome, since the food and beverages there aren’t exactly in my affordable range.



Guess who were here today? Ta-dah! Ahh, I'm missing them already.

Chocolate mousse cake. I still prefer Secret Re. . oops. I’m not supposed to compare and complain too much when I’m doing a food review eh? XD



The famous chicken mushroom pie. The mushroom soup was a little too creamy for my liking though.

Mum certainly looks awesome in her new electric blue butterfly sleeves tunic and the necklace I bought her! Too bad it was covered by the scarf already. I’m gonna borrow the tunic from her!

Anyway, previously someone commented that Hui looks so much like my mum. DUH. They are sisters! XD

Low Yat Is Boring

Boredom.

Everything seems so worthless. Sigh. For the whole morning I’ve been clicking on links and reading many many blogs while eating my J.Co leftover and a packet of nasi lemak. Meanwhile I am savouring the freshly-baked chocolate raisin cake which has just been taken out from the oven. I swear this must be the best dessert I’ve ever taken in the entire week.

Someone is ignoring my text, which makes me feel even more depressed than ever. Right now I’m so overwhelmed by guilt for making one so jealous and upset. Not like I’ve ever been a considerate girl who cares about what others think or feel, really. But I’m not exactly a selfish bitch either. If my joy would lead to someone else’s pain and sorrow, I wish God would take away my indulgence.

My life has been quite a big mess for the past few weeks that I don’t even know what I’m doing. Why ah why ah why ah? I wish I could tell you that my life is all happy and wonderful like all you see, but hey, surely there are ups and downs in everyone’s life eh? I’m not a saint, and never shall be. Feeling better now that I’m blurting out whatever rubbish I have in mind, at the same time assuring myself that life always goes that way. It will be fine after all the dramas are over =)

I’ve just spent my entire afternoon in Low Yat! It is probably the most boring place ever in KL! OMG I had no choice but to follow auntie and uncle there since they drove there straight after lunch. I don’t care whether you’re in love with iPhone or iPod or icecream ibbq iwhatever, I say LOW YAT IS THE MOST BORING PLACE EVER! Grr. I was so tired and bored thus nearly broke down and cried. If only I have a magic wand that could turn them phones and laptops into clothes and shoes. Wtfreak wouldn’t that be awesome???

The only thing that attracted me was this Vaio CR laptop in luxury pink! Written on the brochure: “She’s my princess”!



RM4488. I want it!!! It’s time to change my laptop already. I need a new laptop! My old laptop is boring and sucky. I need the pink Vaoi! I want it! I want it so badly! I already have a matching pink mouse, so I will get another matching pink pouch! I know, pink is really cliché, but it’s so fabulous that I can’t help liking it! Any suggestion? Maybe I should start saving.

Did I tell you that I am very very broke now? Topshop is having their mid season sales, but I don’t even have enough to spend! Some items are really really cheap after discount. And wtfreak, I spotted a few Little Miss boyshorts in the Pavilion branch yesterday! I’ve been looking for them since forever! Gawd, I really should start starving myself next week so I can get those undies!

By the way, I’m considering of retaking my SAT. Don’t ask me why, I just thought I could have done better. But that means I’m gonna go through all the suffering again! Mehhh, haven’t I had enough last year? But I’m having a sudden strange urge of buying a new Princeton test book and completing all the practice tests! But then I would have to flip through my dictionary every 5seconds! But I would be on top of the world if I achieve the score I want! But what if I score lower than the previous time??? But but but. . .

#1: Just shuddup and go sign up for the test.
#2: Forget it. You know you are never gonna make it.
