Container Market @ Sunway Nexis, Kota Damansara

Paid a visit to the Container Market event at Sunway Nexis, Kota Damansara during the weekend. I expected a crowded market with at least 50 stalls, but instead, it was quite a small-scaled bazaar. Just a few fashion stalls like those you would see at flea markets, mostly promoting Shopee app. 20% off certain items if you have a Shopee account! (I installed it on the spot lol). Of course, there were a few stalls and trucks selling snacks too, but nothing spectacular.

This stall that sells customize accessories caught my attention.

I have always wanted a passport cover! Comes in pink shades that I love!

For a reasonable price, you get to the passport cover together with a name tag and a charm.

Pick your own colour tag and they will get your name embossed on the spot. Embossing on the leather itself is possible too but they will have to get it done at the factory.

So many charms I took quite a while to decide!

Tadah~ Picked a cat at last. Because people always associate me with cats :/

Came back and shared the end product with my besties. Turns out they all love it! So I placed order for them via whatsapp and paid a visit to Nexis to collect again. A shoutout to Esther for the great service! :)

Angela's and Rachel's. All picked the same colour wtf XD

Katie's. Omg the baby pink is so pretty and that little horsie is so cute! This colour was actually my second choice. I took quite some time choosing between baby pink or pink. Was afraid I would dirty the baby pink one :(

The horse so cute la!!! It is our Chinese zodiac ^^ (unintentionally revealed age :x)

Was supposed to get one for Jess too but she already has one with the same tag and charm. Looking forward to our next trip together!

Ended up buying a paid of sandals while I was there for the second time. Oh well, there was 20% discount with Shopee account anyway. Teehee.

If you would like to get the personalized passport cover too, do check out Juize by Five's Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/Juizebyfive/

They sell other customized accessories like clutch, land yard and key holder too! :)

Some of the snacks stalls there. 2 packs of Perfecto popcorn + 1 bottle of potato chips for 8 bucks only. Cheap! Bought it!

According to the poster, the Container Market is still ongoing from 1-5 February. But according to the accessories stall and the shoes stall I visited, it was already their last day. Perhaps there will be other stalls taking over their spot next week.

High Tea @ Thirty8, Grand Hyatt KL

Looking for a high tea spot in KL? Consider Thirty8 at Grand Hyatt!

Like the name suggests, Thirty8 is situated at Level 38 of Grand Hyatt Hotel in the heart of KL. Visited the restaurant for my birthday celebration with the 2 besties, Katie and Jess.

Birthday girl months ago. Took additional effort to make myself look like a doll *creep*

We haven’t had proper birthday celebration together for years since Katie is always away from Malaysia. Fortunate for me this year she happened to be around!

If you’re heading to Thirty8 in the weekend, remember to call in advance to make your reservation.

Lighting is perfect at Thirty8 for great photos.

Priced at RM68 per person, the 3-tier high tea set consists of macarons, scones, cakes and sandwiches.

It is not mandatory to order the tea set. There’s a selection of ala carte desserts in the high tea menu as well.

We ordered the signature cake as suggested by reviews – RM26.

The waiter poured hot caramel sauce over it accompanied by the dramatic dry ice effect. Fascinating.

It doesn’t just look good, but tastes awesome as well! No doubt the signature cake. The must-have at Thirty8!

Musical band playing downstairs as we dined.

The only photo of us with the KLCC towers.  The view is great, doesn’t matter if we look dark.

Always wanted one princess-descending-the-stairs kind of photo. Now I’ve got one! And with the right outfit XD

More photos with the girls that afternoon.

Thank you loves for the joint celebration! Although we don’t see each other often, our friendships still stay strong all this while. Gosh, we have known each other for more than 10 years! I love you girls. We shall have many more birthday celebrations in the future! xoxo

GNO @ Plan B & The Bee, Publika

If you haven’t been to Publika, it is an artsy mall located at Solaris Dutamas. Quite an interesting place I would say, with their artistic decorations here and there, each depicting their hidden meanings. I don’t go shopping at Publika though, since most of the things there are priced above average, targeted at the affluent residents from that area. Some designer shops are solely meant for my eyes but not my wallet.

The main reason I visit Publika is for the food. This time, Katie, Jess and I had our girls night out at Plan B.

Slow cooked lamb spaghetti with tender and juicy lamb. Yummy with the tomato sauce itself without the cream cheese.

Photobucket

Wild mushroom spaghetti, our all-time favourite.

Photobucket

Ox tongue sandwich. Ox tongue might sound gross to you but it is delicious! In fact it tasted like ham.

Photobucket

Coincidently dressed similarly in black and white! ^^

Not my best photo but still, just wanna show you the back of my dress! XD

Bitchy twins make me feel left out all the time lo FML

Pity Jess always have to drive us around in KL. Okay when we go back to Muar I would be the one driving so I guess it’s fair. LOL.

Photobucket

Tell me why did I have to bend down so awkwardly? HAHA.

Photobucket

Drink session at The Bee after Plan B, during which Jess took like 20 minutes to decide on her cake after throwing a dozen of questions at the waiter. We couldn’t agree better than she is indeed every waiter’s nightmare -.-

Photobucket

Refused to let Katie order Lychee Martini because I wanted it. But it turns out that her Sangria which I usually have tasted better. Jeez.

Will be having another round of GNO this week. The girls wanted to test our cooking skill (seriously wtf, they knew I suck at this) and I’ve been assigned to be in charged of the appetizer/entrée! I have no idea what to cook. I sincerely hope they won’t laosai eating whatever I’m gonna come up with. Teehee.
