Ximen Walker, Wufenpu & Yangmingshan

In Taipei, there was one night when we stayed up and played Mafia until daybreak. Our initial plan of going to 酒粪 九份 had to be postponed, or more precise, canceled since we didn’t get to visit that place after all. We slept for 2 hours, woke up for breakfast then went back to sleep again T.T

It was evening by the time we got ready to head off to 五分浦, a wholesale heaven where you can get clothes at dirt cheap prices!

If I could remember correctly, that meal costs only NTD60 per person. Damn cheap since some of them even ordered a double serving of rice!

And that is 五分浦! The one and only photo I took while I was there. I don’t need to further elaborate what we did there, do I?

Towards the end of the night, there was this male shopkeeper who asked if we were selling clothes or we really did buy that much of stuff! That was something ought to be proud of, considering we managed to grab ourselves so many spring clothes even though 98% of the stuff selling there are winter wear. I could already picturing myself hauling back a new luggage if we were to go during spring or summer!

After all that shopping madness, we quickly rushed back to the hotel and got dressed to hit the club! It was rather cold outside so I couldn’t go out with my skimpy club wear, but I wanted to save the trouble of taking off my pants in the club, hence the trench coat without pants perverted flasher look! *ashamed*

Met Bernard who travelled all the way from Kao Hsiung just to club with us, who then travelled all the way back there for work just a few hours after we left the club. Wtfreak. The bullet train (高铁) fares must have cost about NTD3000+?

The rest of the incidents occurred that night is for us to know and for you to imagine. Neh you don’t need to imagine that Stepf got drunk and puked in Michael’s new shoes cause I am already telling you this. HAHAHAHA oops that just slipped out, please don’t kill me, Stepf!

Oh, I freaking paid NTD800 upon entry! Good thing the money spent was worthwhile since we had fun. The club and crowd was nothing too cina like I imagined. LOL.

Porridge the morning after noon after cause Stepf was still sick and her weak stomach could not tolerate anything oily.

I think she’s quite stupid for not realizing that 油条was extremely oily. When I told her she was like oops, never mind la; after which she continued eating her oily 油条! -.- FHL no wonder she never got well.

At first I thought it was a small time unpopular singer having a promotional campaign since it was THAT crowded. If潘玮柏 were to come to Malaysia, I think the place would be so packed all you could see is young girls screaming while pulling each others’ hair. Tsk tsk.

We passed through Ximen Walker everyday when we were in Taipei. By the way, I was joking about the new boyfriend if you’re still scratching your head thinking why I’m dating a Taiwanese!

I had a voucher for free cake from our last visit at Tamagoya, so we dropped by while waiting for Tung.

Wing ended up ordering a giant toast thingy.

But not until it became like this! I was already full just by the sight of it. And we imagine it being Stepfanie’s barf. Yikes!

Ready to travel up to the mountain for hot spring! It was so stupid how we took the wrong bus which was going towards the opposite route! Had to get off and took the MRT to Taipei station to wait for another bus again. And that wasn’t all. When we got off from the bus, we had to walk a long distance up the mountain under the drizzles because apparently the bus doesn’t go to the top! Jeez.

Finally reached 阳明山. Thank goodness for my scarf!

Have to come up of the water every 5-10 minutes to prevent ourselves from fainting.

And angelic in the next! LOL. These two photos are non-edited. Wonder how the magic hot spring turned the photos that way. Could it be my good and bad conscience appearing one after another? Shocking.

After the wonderful one hour spent in the 鸳鸯汤屋 (it felt more like 20 minutes O.o), it was time for some nice BBQ meat!

There was no spoon so we scooped our soup with the scallop shell. *smart*

It was so cold and windy at the mountain top restaurant, we stayed indoor with the glass shut close at ALL time.

Last but not least, 围绕取暖炉集体尿尿！HAHA.

Surprisingly that was the first, and probably the only public heater I saw throughout my stay in Taiwan. I kinda expected every restaurant to have it. But perhaps it’s not necessary, since most places there aren’t that cold after all.

Taipei 101 & Shihlin Night Market

Fine, I shall blog about my most recent Taiwan trip!

Totally lost my motivation to blog after the long break. The only thing that drives me to blog right now is other bloggers’ page which are filled with beautiful photos taken during their holiday trips. I’m like heck I didn’t take those photos for nothing! Have to publish it here for all my effort! Hiak hiak.

Let’s start off with a vain photo of me! Meep.

Initially it was only Stepf and I, but later on like just a week before the trip, Wing decided to join us.

The great thing about winter is we can dress up in trench coat and boots without being labeled as insane/lala. In Malaysia it is summer all year long I can’t even wear my leather jacket without sweating like a dog!

Taipei wasn’t our first stop. But I figured I should blog about it first in case I lost my inspiration after blogging on KaoHsiung, Taichung and Tainan. Wtfreak.

Taiwan is not all about street food you see. Our Taipei tour guide, Tung who is very atas brought us to this Café Tamagoya 蛋蛋屋during which I tasted some yummy 猪排蛋包饭！My Taiwan posts will be filled with Chinese words. Sorry if you’re a banana T.T

Tea time at 绿盖茶馆 which was located inside a book shop.

That wasn’t beer but green tea which was topped with a layer of sour cream. Whoever came out with the combination must be a genius!

We tried to take so many photos with Taipei 101 but most of them turned out blur. This is the best we got. Oh well.

Yesh we could really see that Chinese New Year is drawing close.

I couldn’t judge though, since I hadn’t tried in Malaysia. It’s rather expensive though for just a few sticks of fries.

Didn’t go up to the highest floor cause we were too kiam siap cause it was too foggy that night and we wouldn’t have a nice view of the city. So we decided to proceed to Shihlin night market 士林夜市.

In Taiwan there’s always this sticky soup thingy which was called 焿, either 肉焿，鱿鱼焿 or this one that we had called du duo yu 焿 (cannot find the Chinese words grrr I give up!).

Little Miss Marc

It’s been more than half a month. I must be the worst blogger this year. Tsk tsk.

I was back from my 2-week-long trip from Taiwan on 25^th. Bought lesser than I expected due to my overweight luggage. Now to think about it, I should have gone wit an empty one. Jeez.

Taiwan is great by the way. The weather was tolerable since it wasn’t THAT cold throughout our stay. I’m missing those days when we can simply walk on the street to get food in small quantity but a huge variety.

Back in Muar now for Chinese New Year. Won’t be back to KL until perhaps Valentine’s Day? Or maybe later than that if no one asked me out by then :(

Schedule is so tight I hardly have time to sleep, let alone to update you guys on my trip!

New Year Eve @ Sher's Mansion

How did you spend your New Year eve? Instead of driving ourselves nuts with the massive jam in the city where everyone gathered for count down, we decided to have a house party at Shereen’s new place. Seriously, it’s like a dream house with spacious beautiful interior and a nice swimming pool. It was my first time seeing Katie ever since she got back from Melbourne a week ago, and Jess after we had both been so busy with work and stuff, and not forgetting those wonderful peeps whom we met during our last Melbourne trip!

We didn’t want to wet ourselves, but it would be a waste to not use the pool, so we dipped our feet in and enjoyed the cool water. Except that it kinda itched my legs after I got up from the pool. Could it be low tolerance and high sensitivity towards the chlorine substance?

I must say that Sher and I have really similar hair. It was funny how her younger sister mistook me as Sher, hugged me and called me jie and only realized it when her mum told her she got the wrong person. Awkward moment XD

Last but not least, the three of us.

It’s a shame that Katie is doing her internship in Melbourne and could only be back for 2 weeks. And now that Jess is a full-time auditor, she can’t possibly abandon her work and come back on week days. There’s barely any chance for the three of us to be together, which is why we really cherish every moment whenever our girls are around.

It might be a whole new year, but our bonds shall remain the same. Even though we aren’t able to meet up often, I know both of you are the people I can always count on. Happy new year, I love you babes! :)

is to stay single throughout the year

and get to know as many hot guys as possible! *wink*
