My Tiffany ♥Valentine♥ at Jogoya

note: he is not my boyfriend.

Here’s the Valentine post that I promised on February. I spent that special day with Sammy, my cute little mushroom who has finally got rid of his long hair. Doesn’t he look more adorable now? XD

.

Before anything else, I must show you my Valentine gift this year. That turquoise box, any girl would know!

Tiffany & Co heart pendant necklace that I’ve always wanted!

I was so excited with the gift I couldn’t stop smiling for the whole night.

.

Thank you little mushroom to have gotten me Tiffany & Co! I love the gift as much as I adore you!

.

We celebrated at Jogoya before which we collected my Valentine present from Pavilion. Beautiful Chinese New Year decoration :)

Believe it or not, it was my first time dining at Jogoya! To be honest, the food was rather disappointing. From what I’ve heard and read, the quality and variety of food at Jogoya used to be 5-star worthwhile, but now it seems that the standard has deteriorated (ever since the change of management, or so I heard).

Sammy and I at the entrance.

IMG_6563

Upon arrival, we were served a complimentary Valentine’s Day cake which was probably the best dish of the day. Yummy strawberry mousse with loads of strawberry sauce!

IMG_6511

Sashimi. Finally a place where I could have as much salmon as I want!

IMG_6504

Flower crab, abalone, scallop etc.

IMG_6505

Couldn’t have enough of Haagen-Dazs. I’ve always failed to resist the temptation of green tea ice-cream ever since I had the first taste of it at Sushi Zanmai.

IMG_6513

Shark fin soup.

IMG_6514

One of the many chicken dishes that Sammy ordered. He’s such a huge fan of chicken I wonder if he’ll marry a chicken one day wtf.

IMG_6512

Chuka Kurage, Chasoba, Edamame etc.

IMG_6519

Tiny Chawanmushi.

IMG_6523

Cookies.

IMG_6526

Dim sum.

IMG_6527

Some balls that I don’t remember eating.

IMG_6528

Weird stuff O.o

IMG_6529

Calamari rings and . . ??

IMG_6530

Duck meat, sea urchin, sweet & sour chicken.

IMG_6532

Cheap sushi.

IMG_6533

Shishamo.

IMG_6536

Chocolate fondue marshmallow.

IMG_6534

Beef, pizza, escargot etc.

IMG_6538

Sea urchin tasted disgusting.

IMG_6539

Hot Cold pot which we didn’t get to taste at last cause the fire just wouldn’t light up.

IMG_6540

Takoyucky. Don’t bother, Jusco ones taste much better.

IMG_6541

Grilled salmon was acceptable.

IMG_6542

Coconut drink.

IMG_6543

Cheesy stuff. By that time I was already feeling so full and disgusted after all the awful food we forced into ourselves.

IMG_6544

Chocolate cake and cute mochi.

IMG_6545

Cheers to the fate that brought us together, and to our many days ahead.

IMG_6548

Despite the unsatisfactory meal, my Korean boy and I had a great time.

.

The foolish bunny couple wishes everyone Happy Valentine’s Day! LOL.

Lesson learnt, never spend lavishly at Jogoya again as it failed to offer luxurious treatment. May it be my first and last visit, unless their standard improves. Tenji next time! Or any better suggestion?
