Waving Bye To Muar

I woke up in the morning and realized that there are plenty of things I need to settle before leaving Muar. Damn cracked! So PISSED OFF! Dad and mum non-stop nagging for the whole morning! “You always do last-minute work.” “You should have done it earlier.” Gimme some peace, won’t you?! I’ve got enough of pressure! Today is the last day for me to finish off all the pre-registration work before stepping my foot into the lousy college. Lousy college with some smart-ass students like Kate. *cough cough*

Nobody likes doing last-minute work. However, if you look at the bright side, it can actually bring you a whole lot of contentment. Yes, no doubt that you will go gaga if you fail to do it at last minute, yet if you do, you will find the joy, feeling that you’ve accomplish a great mission, and nothing can be more satisfying than your great victory. Take an example, this morning I haven’t:

1. Photocopy my JPA offer letter, IC, birth cert and some other documents;
2. Find someone to certify them;
3. Bank-in RM195 registration fee at Bank Islam;
4. Get my contact lense from Axis;
5. Take 8 passport-sized photo;
6. Buy a hair-dryer and a cordless kettle;
7. Find my sport shoes (if I have) from the cabinet
8. E-mail someone his pictures that I promised to send him since 4months ago

I was going crazy.

I was dying.

Finally after having breakfast, I went to Bank Islam where 99% of the people inside are Malays. Duh, you can figure it merely by its name. I wonder whether we are allowed to take pictures publicly in the bank. The security was guarding there like a dog. Still, I took out my camera and simply captured around. There you are! I found two Chinese guys standing at the counter Good to know that I’m not the odd one there.

It frustrated me to find an old man staring at me like I’m an underage trying to rob the bank. I would have felt better if a young and handsome man stares at me, like I’m the beauty of the world! XD Just when I was deep in thought, the bank assistant called Lxx Yxxx Fxx’s name loud and clearly and left me in wonders. Isn’t him the guy who used to work at Workshop? He just came out from Matrik and will be going to UKM this Sunday. Mum had been telling me a lot about what he told me (indirectly) lately including do’s and don’ts when I go to KL and how I should clean my room. Come on, you’re just a young teenage! Don’t be so bossy like my grandpa and tell me to becareful when I cross the road! I mean, yes I appreciate your advice but next time, get my phone number and I will give all my time listen as you nag! That will be better than having you telling mum how proud and hostile I appear to you.

My freshly-brewed photographs which tell me that I’m having a bad hair day. When I compared it to my previous photographs, hey, my features look exactly the same!

Like duh. . .

I went to a shop nearby to get my JPA stuff photocopied to keep them as proof. I was overjoyed to find a few photocopied leftover of my SPM results and some equivalent documents in my file. The INTEC booklet says that “semua dokumen mesti disahkan”, however dad’s, mum’s and my birth certs and IC aren’t certified! But. . . no! I’m going back to school to ask for teachers’ favour! Never mind, because you know what?

Rules. They are meant to be broken. I will not die without anybody’s cop and signature. Why the fuss? Hang on, I will show you my original ones and you shall tell me “Oh, now we know your certs are real ones. You’ve proven that they aren’t faked. Missy, you’re free to go!”

I chose a cute Philip hair-dryer and a Pensonic cordless kettle which aren’t too costly.

In the electrical shop. . .
Mum: What else do you need?
Kate: Hmm. . . I just remembered what I need! A TV and a radio!
Mum: Wo bong gei ni si ar! (as in, slap me to death XD)

Mum: Are you going for study or going to enjoy your life?

Good question. My answer shall be “BOTH!”

Come on, I was just kidding about the TV and the radio. My laptop can easily replace them as long as I get to access to the net!

I can’t believe that I’m leaving my home sweet home tomorrow to start a new life at that industrial place! Can I bring mummy along? X(

Note: Hui Yi is back! But she'll be back next Saturday. So fast. . .

Sorry to Jess, James and Henry that I couldn't make it tonight. Kinda busy at the moment. We shall meet again when I'm back, and I'll update you guys with my life over there! Cheers=)

Rescue Mission

One night you find the door knob spoilt and your two kids are locked inside the room.

Cracked your head figuring how it happens.

Used up all your strength but it doesn’t work.

You call all your relatives, all your friends to tell them the disaster befallen.

You browse through your phonebook to search for helper.

Try to open it by all means but fail.

Soon the expert is here.

Now, learn!

Finally it is opened!

And this brat is found sleeping despite all the loud bang.

The doorknob is removed. The door is but a piece of wood.

A piece of wood with one hole at the side. I can see you now.

Thank God it wasn’t my room and I wasn’t the one locked inside!

Such thing happens.
So prepare your tools!
In case of emergency.

Seoul Garden

Good news!
I added memory RAM to my laptop so now it works more efficiently and is no longer slow like a tortoise! The worker overheard dad and had mistaken “add up to 1GB” as “add 1GB”. So I have 1.5GB of RAM now=)

Bad news!
I had insomnia!
I woke up at 2am in the midnight feeling wide-awake and energetic. I couldn’t fall sleep again! Not until 4am, after I tried hard thinking about some dull and boring things which most probably “turned my brain off”. This is what I end up when I’m lack of sleep:

During that few hour I sent a message to Chuang Hwee just to check how he would respond. It happened that he forgot to set silent mode that night and I woke him up from his sleep! *guilty* In addition to that, I sent a message all across the ocean to Dakota since it was already 7am in New Zealand. I found this random picture of me in one of his recent posts.

His so-called “cute tribute”.

Got this from 6 guides to a successful tantrum

Isn’t he simply cool and cute? Yes, everybody loves him! Show me one who doesn’t? Admit it, who wouldn’t resist a sweet-sixteen boy? <3>

I chose myself a few pair of new shoes from dad’s shop!
This pair is to match my formal attire.

This pair is to match my Baju Kurung.

After second thought, I decided to choose another pair of shoes cause the shoes I was wearing at that moment was all old and dirty, and there was even a hole at the side! So this is what I got after browsing through all the display items:

Because I was going to Malacca for shopping spree and I needed a pair of proper shoes to walk comfortably!
Dad’s expression when he saw me stealing his property.

He asked what do I need so many pair of shoes for when I’m merely going for studies. Hey daddy, don’t you know that women can never be contented with all she’s having? There’s no such thing as ENOUGH pair of shoes!

Later on, I discovered this cool shirt in another shop. Focus on the words. I didn’t take it though. I just thought it was cool, doesn’t mean I like it.

Off to Malacca!~

First place that we visit in Mahkota Parade was the loo.

Nice design eh?

To tell you the truth, our main purpose was not to shop but to eat at Seoul Garden! This is where we can enjoy steamboat and barbeque at the same time. The price was worthwhile, especially if you’re someone who brings your student ID around like me. Pay RM16.99 and eat as much as you can!

My beloved sausage dropped and stained my clothes.

Make yourself a bowl of ais-kacang for dessert.

There are 6 flavours of ice-cream too if you want.

See how happy they are XD

Place to visit after eating. It’s no other than the loo again. This time for a different purpose.

This is my mum and she is really self-conscious =)

Gosh, I’m like a stalker spying on 4 women, among whom 3 of them are mama. Call them aunties XD

Aunties’ favourite shopping place: HOT

Things that we bought: Vincci handbag, Vincci sunglasses, Padini shirts, slippers and many nonsense stuff from HOT including cute little mirrors.

Shopaholic’s car boot:

Tell me I look cool.
Eew? X(

Daddy's Birthday

25th June. Happy Birthday to daddy!

Wanna see what I got for him? Look! A cute handphone accessory from BumCity Genting. Jess thought it resembles dad, and I quite agreed. I don't care if you look like a 3-year-old, dad! You've got to use it! I hung it to his bag which he brings to work everyday XD
Cappucino cake!
He said he'll be happy as long as we are good and obedient. Let's just hope that his wish will come true=)
One candle only. He said he shall remain 10 years old always. LOL

Trip to KL and Genting Highlands

I miss my 5days 4night trip to KL and Genting Highlands along with Jess! Stay put and check out our pictures!

We were supposed to depart on Friday but decided to go there one day earlier because there was a one-day-trip to Genting in our new plan. What? There again? How bored. But since Joel has never been to the theme park before and hoped to pay a visit there, so we sacrificed our time and money and energy all the way uphill, and I assured myself that it was for the sake of the fresh air XD Thanks to Jess’s uncle that we had a proper place to spend our nights in KL and was able to travel around without much difficulties as he dropped us at the LRT stations. So this is where we spent our nights:

I would like to recommend you the super cheap package that includes two ways bus, two ways cable car and outdoor theme park entrance (or) one buffet meal which only costs RM26 on weekdays and RM39 on weekends! Considering that the outdoor theme park entrance itself was already RM30+ per head, and two ways cable car ticket is sold at the price of RM10, which means we board the bus and cable car for free and even got discount for the entrance ticket! Wow, wasn’t that simply worth it? So, remember to take the bus from Pasar Rakyat bus station which is located somewhere at Jalan Imbi. Pasar, not Plaza.

“The Golden Age Bus” to Genting Highlands. They must had been thinking, “What on earth are these kids doing here on a Friday morning? They skipped school?”

Genting cable car. Joel thought my make-up was way too much and too heavy. Not at all X(

The first thing we played: Cyclone (or call it the mini roller-coaster) Kate, Joel, Jason.

Next was the Spinner. I caught Joel taking pictures of Jess when they were spinning high above. Kekeke.

Then it was turn to play the Corkscrew, better known as the roller coaster. Gosh, I didn’t even dare to open my eyes! XD

I love the flying dragon! Thrilling yet not so scary, and the ride included going through the indoor First World Plaza.

Lunch time. We were famished. My first visit to Burger King. Don’t be too surprised cause having a small mouth, I’ve never really liked burger. I just wanted to taste the onion rings which someone once told me that the onion ring there is the best!

Not really the best, I think. It could have tasted better if it was hot.

Jess and I shopped around after lunch. The guys aren’t the shopping type. Who cares? Just leave them alone.

It rained so heavily that we didn't even have chance to play the Spaceshot and Sungai Rejang Flume Ride. So we had to stay indoor instead.

My second visit to Ripley’s Believe It Or Not. I remember going there when I was in primary school, and I was terrified by some bloody was statue.

Princess Kate on the throne. Hmm, more like a queen eh? XD

We will have good luck after this! Can the chair promise that I won’t fall from the escalator ever again?

This is my dream car.

It was Joel’s idea. Kinda lame though. LOL

Come on, let me snap a photo of you!

For once I looked fat.

Remember “The Pearl” that we studied for SPM? This is it!

These are my neck tie collection! Mine? Dream on~

Baskin Robbin before we waved goodbye to Uncle Lim. Cookies and cream, Raspberry Cheese.

By the end of the day, I was totally exhausted. Still, I was amused by how Jess brushed her teeth. Wanna take a look? The beauty’s ugliness revealed! Her legs were wide-opened at first. XD

Saturday- shopping spree at 1Utama! From 10am to 7pm. Shop til you drop! Sheesh, I wasn’t supposed to buy any clothes but I bought 5!

Halfway shopping. My legs were all painful and tired.

The cute unique bag I bought for sis. A lovely gift!

Set meals at Jack’s Place. Opening dish, main course and desserts! We sat there for more than one hour.

Spot the difference? Okay, I admit that I was the dirty filthy cat XD

This is the pyjamas that I borrowed from Auntie Ling Ling. I like it so much! But Jess said this picture looks like I’m a prostitute asking men to bed. Taken in the morning.

Sunday service to at. . . oops, what was the name of the church huh? Anyway, I met a few friendly people there among which were one guy and one girl who are studying ADTP at Inti Subang. Lunch at “Huang di Mian” later on. Wasn’t as nice as I had expected though.

Uncle Choo had 3tickets for the MPO at KLCC. He, Dennis and Cherish went for that while Auntie Ling Ling, Jess and I went for the Beauty Expo at the KL Conference Centre.

What a surprise that we met Jol Wee there! She gave us 3hair products each as instructed by her dad XD

It was another day of shopping. Jess bought a nice colourful walking shoes at Adidas. There was a hanger at the counter, and I happened to be playing with it. So the salesperson asked, “You want the hanger?” I said no no, and at the same time, I spotted this really cool mouse pad and quickly said, “I want this!” To my surprise, he took 3 and gave us! We were so excited over the freebies and when we got home, we discovered that there wasn’t only 3 but 6 mouse pads! Gosh, now that we’ve got Adidas mouse pad, I loveeeeee that guy!

Meanwhile, Jess bought me this bag from Romp as my early birthday present, knowing that I need a bag to go to college. That salesguy who looked rather like a Siamese kept looking at me with a weird expression and even whispered something to his friend while pointing at me. He was rather good-looking except that he was kinda short. I didn't even have a chance to ask his name cause there were customers around X( Okay, the bag will be the best present so far. Erm, nope, I’m sure that it will be the best present ever this year! Gosh, I love Jess even more than I love that Adidas guy! XD
