Libresse- Absorption is nothing without fit

Now to think bout my life, I am an adventurous girl who embraces new things and new experiences in life.

There are times when I try out new hairstyle;

and new glasses;

Photobucket

and better still, a new car!

Photobucket

After all, you’ll never know if you like something until you try it.

Now I can’t help but to notice Libresse, a new brand for sanitary pad and pantyliner. I’ve used most of the brands selling in the market and to be honest, most of them either cause leakage or irritation.

Photobucket

Good news for me and all the ladies out there! Libresse offers Secure Fit and DHC and brings us ‘Absorption is Nothing without Fit’!

An example of Libresse’s feminine packaging:

After using Libresse, hopefully I can save time on washing my stained panties and divert my time on writing blog posts instead! Teehee.

Will definitely try out their pantyliner as well! For someone lazy hygienic like me, there is no doubt that pantyliner plays an important part of my daily life. Why trouble yourself to scrub your dirty undies with your delicate fingers when you can easily avoid dirtying it by using pantyliner? XD

If you haven’t used a pantyliner before (omgosh you’re unbelievable!), fret not because Libresse pantyliner comes with soft cottony surface, breathable back sheet and stretchable liner. In other words, it will be comfortable and almost non-existent!

Right now, Libresse is having an interactive campaign on their website. Go watch the video and help Yuna, Adibah and Pam & Van to decide which route to take. I’ve watched all the videos and to be honest, it’s indeed something new compared to any other ad I’ve seen before! The videos bring you along to the celebrities’ thrilling experiences such as dancing with the sharks and wakeboarding. Hint: you’ll be getting a phone call from any of your chosen celebrity! Strictly no charges incurred.

Aren’t you glad that Libresse is bringing you a whole new experience in life? :)

Nuffnang Sharing Session @ Frames Cafe

It’s been a while since I last blogged about my social outing. That doesn’t mean I’ve stopped attending events and meeting new people though. Most of the time my massive workload and my frequent fatigue simply defeat me, the moment I reach home, all I want to do is a few minutes of bed time reading before heading off to sleep. However, to prove that I, despite being caught up with uni work, still maintain the usual social life, I’m going to post up a few photos taken during Nuffnang Sharing Session at Frames Café last night.

Photobucket

I remember the first sharing session I attended 2 years back during which Cheesie and Cindy were the guest bloggers. Coincidently, this time both of them were the guest bloggers too aside from Audrey.

Audrey and Timothy, boss of Nuffnang.

Photobucket

Surprised to see Xiaxue who came to KL for the weekend.

Photobucket

Xinxian and Michelle, the two gorgeous nuffies :)

Photobucket

Didn’t really had chance to talk to Huiwen before this until then.

Photobucket

Met Sherry and Melissa for the first time.

Photobucket

There were a lot more bloggers who were present that night but I can’t post up all the photos. Only picked a few in which my face doesn’t look fat like a giant moon cake. Wtfreak.

Frames Café embraces the concept of photography which happened to be the owners’ hobby. That explains the vast collection of framed original photos on the wall. Totally love the atmosphere there! All the food served that night were quite ordinary though.

Group photo credit to Jackie.

Thank you Nuffnang and Frames Café for the wondering sharing session! :)

Japan Nuclear Plant Explosion Acid Rain Hoax

First of all, I would like to convey my condolences to Japan for the recent earthquake and tsunami. It’s heartbreaking seeing so many homes destroyed and so many lives lost in such a short time. In conjunction with the latest nuclear plant leak, there are rumours being spread regarding acid rain that might cause burnt or skin cancer.

Yesterday, I received so many different versions of such message on my BBM:

“A nuclear power plant in Fukumi, Japan exploded at 4.30am today. If it rains tomorrow or later, don’t go outside. If you are outside, be sure that you have rain protectors. It’s acid rain. Don’t let it touch you. You may burn your skin, lose your hair or have cancer. Please pass, stay safe and remind everyone you know.”

“新闻台最新消息:日本政府证实因第二波地震而波及的福岛县的核子厂,辐射外泄抢救失败,以开始蔓延至亚洲区域国家。在接下来24小时尽量不要外出,穿长袖衣物,保护身体买免受辐射攻击,尤其是颈项部位最容易受害。”

People’s minds are so easily manipulated. When we receive the message, we panic and forward the message to everyone we can possibly reach, who then forward it to their friends and causing even more panic. Did anyone actually care to do some research and get the facts right before spreading the unwanted rumour? All the mass sendings must have really pleased the Telco companies. LOL.

In Manila, the rumour caused so much panic among the people they started buying antiseptic for radiation protection! It was reported that Betadine in pharmacies are all sold out! More info here.

Wow, looks like Telco companies aren’t the only business that should feel pleased.

If you receive such message, do not worry as it’s a mere hoax. The radiation would not form acid rain and neither would it be blown over to our country as the wind from Japan is traveling towards the Pacific Ocean. Click to read the article.

Instead of wasting our time on the hoax, why not focus on how we can help the unfortunate nation that was struck by the disaster? :)

Update:It was further assured by The Straits Times that the forwarded text was indeed a hoax.

Horseys and Ponies at Chin Jing Farm

Here are some of my horse riding photos taken at Chin Jing Farm, as promised! We were introduced to two horses, 小弹簧 (the brown one) and. . . oops, forgot the name of the white horse. I remember小弹簧 in particular because Stepf mistook it as 小蛋黄! Wtfreak.

Photobucket

Cute little pony!!! I’m too heavy to ride on it.

Photobucket

Another white pony. I iz taller yo. Teehee.

Photobucket

Frank dio ignored by the pony. HAHA.

Photobucket

Me riding小弹簧!

Photobucket

Which crazy fella snapped at the its arse? LOL.

Photobucket

We took 3 rounds around the compound. It feels so good to be sitting high up on the horse’s back that I wish I could join horse riding lessons!

Photobucket

Mike riding 小弹簧.

Stepf riding 小弹簧.

Photobucket

Wing riding 小弹簧.

Photobucket

Hey why no one wants the white horse???

There you go, presenting Frank the prince charming. Apparently he had no choice but to ride on the white horse because according to the horse owners, 小弹簧 would not be able to support his weight! XD

Photobucket

My favourite spontaneous shot.

Photobucket

帅哥教练。

Photobucket

Another photo with that little pony again case it’s so adorable!!!

Photobucket

After taking each of our turns, we stayed put a little to admire and play with the horses.

Photobucket

The owners were kind to have provided us some carrots to feed the horsey.

Photobucket

Aww, so cute!

Photobucket

Epic photo!!!! HAHAHAHA.

Photobucket

Two horseys. 两张马脸!XD

Photobucket

Most of the stalls at the market were already closing as we proceeded there.

Photobucket

Bought some cow’s milk and goat’s milk ice-cream.

Photobucket

Milky and yummy!

Photobucket

Felt extraordinary eating ice-cream under such cold weather.

Photobucket

Another shop that sells really cheap farm dairy products.

Photobucket

Beautiful sakura under the evening sunset.

Photobucket

More breathtaking view as we toured around the farm.

Photobucket

But at the same time, the temperature was decreasing as the dark approached.

Photobucket

Walking towards the wind mill. This place seriously looks like a painting!

Photobucket

MUST.TAKE.PHOTO.EVEN.WHILE.FREEZING.

Photobucket

I looked as if I was photoshopped into the photo. LOL.

Photobucket

Close-up shot with the wind mill. Bad lighting though. Tsk tsk.

Photobucket

One last nice photo of us before walking while shivering to the taxi pick-up point.

Photobucket

泡面 at 7-11 for dinner!

Photobucket

满汉大餐 beef noodles is the best! I bought so may packs of them back to Malaysia! *yums*

Photobucket

寒冷的夜晚吃热腾腾的泡面,超赞!

Photobucket

That shall sum it all for my post on Chin Jing Farm. No regret for the long torturing journey back and forth from the mountain as the trip was way better than I’d expected! Do visit the place if you’re ever going to Taiwan! :)
