20th Birthday @ El Cerdo

Today, I’m going to blog about. . . my 20th birthday dinner at El Cerdo!

For those who don’t know my birthday, it was on 24th August, which is more than 3months back. Backdated post!

Back then I invited a few close friends from Muar for a dinner session at the famous pork restaurant located at Changkat Bukit Bintang. We booked a private room all for ourselves.



Was caught in surprise by a bouquet of lily from all of them the moment I arrived. As expected, Zi Khai was forced to be the representative.



On a side note, don’t you simply love my once long and wavy hair? Arghhhh!



I seemed happy looking at the menu despite the price! LOL.



Cheers to my 20th, and our friendships of course.



The mixed platter which grossed them out. We just aren’t the type that appreciates cold appetizers like these. Oh well.



Highly recommended Oven Roasted Iberico Spare Ribs. Tastes heavenly!



Marinated Pork Shoulder Steak was yummy too!



Paella’s (rice) wasn’t cheap.



But it was really nice.



I remember ordering German Crisy Knuckle but couldn’t find the photo.

The night did not end just like that. We spontaneously headed up to Genting after dinner, with me dressed like that without any jacket! Gotta be thankful that I did not freeze to death on the night of my birthday celebration.

Thanks for all the wishes and presents, and most importantly, to make me feel loved. It was indeed a good one :)

Case of the Stolen Keys to Tron: Legacy by TGV

Bad news for you movie lovers! The set of keys to the safe containing Tron: Legacy has been stolen from the projectionist’s room at TGV Cinema! Details of the incident as follows:



With the key stolen, it means e won’t be able to watch Tron: Legacy in TGV on the supposedly release date! I ish sad :(



But there must be a way to find the culprit and retrieve the key! But obviously I alone would never be able to figure it out.

Now, TGV Cinemas and partners are giving out A Private Screening Hall for any movie + a Panasonic 50” 3DTV and many other attractive prizes to the ones who manage to solve the case*.



Sounds like a great reward, doesn’t it? Upon solving the case, you will get your prizes and all of us will get to watch the movie on its release date. It makes the world happier! XD

SHOUT! Awards @ Stadium Bukit Jalil

Thanks to Sirens Media, I was invited to SHOUT! Awards at Stadium Bukit Jalil last Saturday. Upon arrival, I was shocked to see the huge crowd queuing up even at the VIP sections. It was before which I discovered that our tickets could grant us entrance through the VIP X Zone, which was exclusive after all.

My Magical Journey

My magical journey begins somewhere in the realm of the White Witch. My adventure below is narrated by my newly-hired servant, Mr. Insanity from the world of Narnia.



The dethroned white witch plotted to take the throne of Narnia with a plan she devised for 15 years. While on her chariot together with her army nearing the Realms of the White Witch, her back started having some problems which greatly affected her plans.



The White Witch did not want her army to know and had them camp in the forest. She summoned the white dove and sent a snow crystal with her words engraved carved by the last powers of her magical staff and instructed the little dove to travel to the mortal world and find a girl with good hands. The dove flew into the ice lake portal in search for a match.



Somewhere in the human world, a family trip to the Himalayas was followed by Kate and her family who owned a massage parlor in Thailand. Kate was angry.

Moments ago she argued with her brother for dropping her cendol and her parents scolded her to shut up which was why she ran away. Kate walked as far as she could climbing over the tip of the mountain and saw a full view of the mountain.

She started sobbing in misery and looked up into the cold blue sky searching for comfort. Kate noticed something shining in the sky, a crystal fell from the dove into the snow as it continued circling above her. Kate got up and picked up the crystal. She rubbed the frost off the crystal and engravings said ‘The Onion Witch’.



Suddenly a penguin appeared infront of her and sucked her into its mouth, followed by the dove. Kate woke up and found herself infront of the White Witch. She was in awe to see such a sexy angry woman with pale skin.

W.Witch: Girl, I need a massage.

Kate: What will I get in return?

W.Witch: I have a Ginza Tanaka’s purse worth $1.9 million, or would you like Chanel’s “Diamond Forever” Classic Bag which you would probably pick the…



Kate: Nothing can beat Chanel, I’ll take it.



Kate the massager celebrity had 6 years of massaging experience and was popularly known for guest-massaging Barack Obama’s back.

The White Witch laid down on the back of the chariot and asked Kate to take care of her polar bears.



After two hour of resting the Witch got up and zapped Kate with her magical staff.

Kate: You scammed me!!!!

The White Witch grinned. ‘I will never let anyone touch my Chanel’. The Witch turned around as Kate reappeared back in the Himalayas.

Due to Kate’s misfortune, not only did she get conned by the *itch, it was because of Kate who was bad at doing business that the White Witch successfully took over the kingdom of Narnia and became the Queen.

And the revenge begins….

Photobucket Exceeded Bandwidth

Hello people! If you are a regular reader of my blog, you would have probably realized that my blog looks like shit now with all the missing photos. Forgive me for the exceeded bandwidth. It’s due to the fact that too many of you had clicked on my photos during the past whole month. So stop clicking my photos already, people! I’m too cheapskate to pay for the upgraded photobucket pro! I’m gonna continue using the free photobucket, hoping that you guys will stop clicking them. I assure you that the photos will be restored on 27^th this month. Meanwhile just bear with the ugly appearance yea :(

The past few days have been occupied with events. After getting busy with studies for the whole semester, it’s time I finally free myself from all worries and start socializing. I’m glad to have met a few new people and also some familiar faces despite having lost contact for quite a while. I know I haven’t been updating about events I went to. Sometimes (most of the time) laziness just got the better of me. You can always check out those photos on my Facebook though. Drop me a message if you fail to add me. Fb is being a bitch after I ignored what seems like 200 requests from strangers, it started preventing people from adding me.

I’m supposed to go back to Muar today but as usual, I have to attend a job briefing and interviews next week, and not forgetting there are two premiere screenings for Rapunzel and The Social Network. So it looks like my going back home plan has to be postponed. Pretty sure mum will not be pleased. Oh well. But I’m already missing all the cheap and nice hawker food in Muar especially otak-otak! I’m going to eat like 20 of them when I go back! Teehee.

Since my photobucket had exceeded its bandwidth, I’ve signed up for Flickr. Figured I would use both at the same time. Here’s a photo taken with my Blackberry Bold 9700 yesterday. Found it rather cute so I can’t resist posting it up!

Hola Summer Break

Hello peeps! It’s mid of November which indicates the beginning of my summer break! Done my last paper for this semester on Monday, and off we went to celebrate our long holiday and our temporary stress-free life. I haven’t been blogging much for the past few weeks because my days were fully occupied with exam preparation but not because I was busy dating, as some of you assumed! LOL. But to be honest, our papers for every subject bear 80% resemblance from the past year. In fact they’re way easier than I had expected. Thus I’m starting to doubt VU’s standard. At the same time, that means I should really be stabbing myself if I don’t get at least 3 HDs for this semester, so who am I to complain? Oh well.

Unlike my other course mates, I did not pack for hometown immediately on the day after exam. That does not mean I don’t miss my family or whatsoever, but I simply can’t leave this city yet. There are events I have to attend, and job interviews I can’t afford to miss. So when everyone else is enjoying their reunion dinner in their respective hometowns, I am right here hunting for jobs to save up for my next trip. It’s my own choice after all. Perhaps that’s just the kind of life I desire. And the fact that dad is cutting my allowance by half next month is not helping either. Cutting my allowance will not make me spend longer time at home but rather, it simply means I have to work extra hours! FML. Headache literally when I think about money!



No money, that means no indulgence in Chilis! Wait, not that I pay for the meal anyway. Teehee. The last time I went to Chilis at Empire Mall with Sam, the stupid waitress did not ask whether I wanted rare, medium or well-done for my grilled lamb, and the chef ended up giving me a well-done lamb. I could have requested for a new one, but I dreaded having to wait another half an hour for it, so decided to just settle unwillingly with the hard-like-rock-can-kill-someone-when-you-throw-it-at-their-head lamb. That was my first unsatisfying dining experience in Chilis, which happened to be my first time visiting Chilis at Empire Mall.



One whole month with him and I’ve already gained extra pounds. He eats like a scary glutton and my diet habit probably got influenced (excuse nia HAHA), hence the extra layers of fats on my arms and tummy. And my moon face got even wider and rounder! Wtfreak. I need to follow him to gym every weekend from now on, seriously. The only problem is that I don’t own any sports shoes. All I have is a pair of Ever Last sneakers which despite the name, will not last me even 30 minutes in the gym. Invest in a new pair of Nike? Maybe! But but, given my current financial situation, oh well :/ Anyway, here’s proof of my big wide round face which I am not very proud of!



I think by now you should have realized, I’m jumping at every opportunity to include as many of my camwhoring photos as possible in this blog post. Okay here’s one last one for you, I promise! XD
