Mixx Club, the most happening club in Melaka at the moment
had just turned one! Tim, Ashley and I headed down to Melaka to celebrate the
anniversary with other invited guests.
Courtesy of the management from Mixx Club, we were given a
chance to stay at Hatten Hotel which is right opposite Mahkota Parade, the
shopping mall where the club is located at.
Ashley and I shared a spacious deluxe room with an awesome
swimming pool view from the full-length window.
Happy 1st anniversary, Mixx Club Melaka! May you
remain the most happening club among the Malaccans!
Coincidently it was Thursday so all the ladies were entitled
to free entry.

The party started at 8pm and we were amazed to see the club
filled with party-goers even at such early hour!
With its live video mixing and advanced lighting system,
Mixx Club has no doubt made a name for itself in the Malaysian clubbing scene.
It has certainly exceeded the standard of KL clubs and stands out among the
other clubs in Melaka state.

Ice-cream and chocolate for the party-goers at the beginning
of the night. Eating ice-cream in a club, definitely something new for me. LOL.

The DJ started by playing music from the 80’s which
resembles the Mambo Jambo night at Zouk.
More R&B music that we’re familiar with towards the end
of the night.
Ashley and I spent most of our time at the dance floor.
Ash: Hey let’s go to the dance floor.
Me: Ahh but nobody there leh.
Ash: Never mind we’re in Melaka, nobody knows us one.
Moments later someone called out my name saying that he read
my blog! FML.
Anyway when we were halfway dancing, everyone was told to
move away from the dance floor. I was wondering what was going on when all of a
sudden they dropped some blue cloth from the ceiling followed by these amazing
aerial dancers!
They moved around up there so effortlessly! We stopped
everything I was doing and stared at the dancers in awe.
Mixx Club plays commercial, top 40's, hip hop, R&B,
retro, a little bit of house and are pretty open format when is comes to music.

It was a short 2 days 1 night trip but we certainly enjoyed
our night at Mixx Club! Very much impressed with the music and lighting. If you’re
heading to the historical town for a food trip, don’t forget to drop by Mixx
Club for an unforgettable night!
