Ciccio Pasticcio @ Changkat Bukit Bintang

Celebrated Jess’s birthday last month at Ciccio Pasticcio, a lovely Italian restaurant located at Changkat Bukit Bintang.

Unlike most of the noisy bars at Changkat, Ciccio brings you a more soothing and romantic ambience.

My beloved birthday girl ^^

The dim-lit restaurant makes all my photos turn out ugly. This is the best I could settle for T_T

If you’re up for drinks only, there’s a bar ready to serve you all sorts of alcoholic drinks from their beverage menu.

We had Somersby that night. It was my first time trying Apple Cider and I gotta say I love it! So sweet you wouldn’t even know it contains 4.5% alcohol.

Complementary bread served with olive oil and vinegar.

“Prosciutto” & melone – Italian dried cured beef ham with rock melon (RM36)

I couldn't get enough of those paper-thin ham! The taste is just right. The melon they served was really sweet too.

Spaghetti aglio olio e gamberi - with king prawns, cherry tomatoes, zucchini, rocket salad in white wine sauce (RM42)

Too much sauce for my liking because I usually like my aglio olio pasta dry. But then the sauce tastes good so no complains. They thought the sauce was way too salty though.

Ravioli di carne – chicken and red chicory ravioli with porcini mushroom and truffle oil (RM42)

If you ever order this ravioli, be sure you share it because after half a plate I’m sure you’ll feel sick of it. Not that it’s awful, but having too much of it simply make you jelak.

Rustica Pizza – tomato, mozzarella, porcini mushroom, smoked duck breast, rocket salad, tomino cheese and truffle oil (RM34)

Yummy thin-crusted pizza as expected from an Italian restaurant. Finished it all although we were rather full by then.

Satisfied with our over all dining experience. Will definitely visit Ciccio again soon! :)

Anonymous: I think that's the usual price in an Italian restaurant :)

If you were to hide your identity, at least use a fake name like andy or something instead of being an anonymous. Just saying :/
