A continuation of Jess’s birthday post. It was my first time
visiting Marini’s on 57 located at Tower 3, KLCC next to Mandarin Oriental
Hotel.
Marini’s on 57 consists of bar, lounge and restaurant. From
the 57th floor, you can enjoy a magnificent bird eye view of the
beautiful city.
Our initial plan was to dine at the restaurant before
proceeding to the bar. However, the restaurant was fully booked when we tried
to make our reservation. It’s recommended to make your reservation 1 week prior
from what I heard. Pretty pricey food there according to the experiences I’ve
heard, RM70 minimum for a pasta dish.
I would say the lounge is an ideal spot for chill out with
the perfect atmosphere and great view. However the cocktails they served were
rather disappointing. We ordered 3 cocktails that night and all of them turned
out bad. Should definitely opt for something safer like champagne, beer or on
the rocks next time.

Can’t remember the name for this but it somehow tastes like
toilet cleaner. LOL.
