PS Cafe @ Harding Road, Singapore

Hello peeps! I’m back from my recent 5days4nights Singapore trip! On one of the days, Jess suggested that we meet up with her cousin, Karen for lunch. Dempsey area was proposed, but we had no idea what was good there. After several replies from my helpful followers on Twitter and FB, we decided to visit PS Café at Harding Road.

Lucky for us, Karen’s husband was driving otherwise that area could not be easily accessed through the MRT. There were so many atas looking restaurants at that particular area! It wasn’t that difficult to look for PS Café though, since there were signboards directing you to the numbers.

PS Café wasn’t just a small ordinary café in the city, but rather a lovely place surrounded by the nature! Trees and grass everywhere, totally unexpected.

Heavy wooden door that I failed to open. LOL.

These cakes really caught my attention the moment I stepped in! I was drooling at the sight of it.

Despite it being a week day, the café was extremely crowded. There was a long long waiting list. We gave our name and was told to wait for 50 minutes.

There were a few lazy chairs out there and some magazines for us while waiting. I just sat there and admired the beautiful surrounding and of course, tried to put the sunlight at its best use XD

It was finally our turn after what seemed like forever. That victorious feeling after being seated on our table! ^^

Gotta love the wooden floor and the full length glass windows that allow you to enjoy the outdoor scenery while having your food.

The café emits this lovely fragrance which I assume came from the fresh flowers on the decorations. Heck, even the flowers in the washroom were real!

Portobello Stack – Poached eggs stacked with Roasted Portobello Mushrooms, Grilled Bacon, Wilted Spinach, Creamy Smoked Cheddar Potato Gratin & Butter Broche.

This simply made up for the long 50-minute wait! The portion is sufficient for sharing (if you eat like we girls that is).

PS Burger – Grilled Wagyu & US Chuck Patty.

PS Shepherd’s Pie and Soup gives you your choice of soup. We had cream of wild mushroom which was extremely rich!

Truffle Shoestring Fries with Grated Parmesan & Parsley tossed in Truffle Oil. A generous amount of golden truffle-flavoured fries - this is a must-order when you visit PS Café!

Not sure how much the bill totaled up but I don’t think it exceeded SGD100. A main course like Portobello Stack costs around SGD25 which of course is rather pricey for brunch if you were to convert it to Ringgit. But well, you’re not supposed to do conversion when you’re on vacation XD

There are a few branches of PS Café other than this one that we’ve visited, though I’m not sure if their environment half as lovely. Unfortunately you can’t make reservation for brunch, so all you can do is go there early and wait for your turn.
