Get ready to party because Carlsberg Malaysia, for the first time ever, has recreated the perfect setting to celebrate the world renowned Bavarian national festival, the famous Oktoberfest. The festival, modeled after the Munich Oktoberfest, runs from 21 September to 20 October 2011 at over 25 participating outlets and 18 market squares throughout Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Penang, Seremban and Johor.
Courtesy of MHB and Malaysia's Own Oktoberfest, I attended Oktoberfest at 1 Utama! Instead of dressing up elegantly, I decided to go with my ribbon obsession. After all, Oktoberfest is all about fun and enjoyment!

To mark this widely-celebrated festival, Carlsberg Malaysia boasts a month-long extravaganza filled with roaring days of exciting parties, music, authentic gastronomic experiences to whet the appetitie and barrels of Carlsberg, Erdinger Weissbier, Franziskaner Weissbier and Lowenbrau to be downed.
Instead of the usual clubbing R&B or hip-hop rock & roll, we indulged in carefree and fun-filled Chicken Dance, YMCA etc!
The night was never boring with the live performance of the Oompah band.

At first we were sweating in the tent but then God must have heard us so he poured down a heavy rain. It was reduced into a drizzle just in time when we were about to leave. Meanwhile I can haz many pints of German beer for the night!
