Tainan - all about food

Here’s a continuation of my previous Tainan post.

7 of us cramped in Hsiang Kai’s little car.

Photobucket

Played base ball for the first time.

Photobucket

There’s no way you could hit a homerun without getting your palm all sore up :(

Photobucket

小情侣。Every Taiwanese family owns a bike as it’s the most common means of transportation there.

Photobucket

Fish head that kinda stinks. Reminded me of 臭臭锅。

Photobucket

Street food hunt at the night market!

Photobucket

Hot dog.

Photobucket

The famous grilled meat stall.

Photobucket

Long queue.

Photobucket

One whole roasted pork which might possibly offend some of my Muslim readers T.T

Photobucket

可莉饼。

Photobucket

The tarik that tasted no difference from Taiwan Bubble Tea. RM4 for one packet of the tarik LOL.

Photobucket

麻辣汤 with 鸭血 and 鱼蛋。

Photobucket

Yummy 豆乳鸡。

Photobucket

The famous 大肠包小肠。

Photobucket

It’s actually Taiwan sausage wrapped by an outer layer of rice. I prefer to eat the sausage itself though (unintended obscene pose).

Photobucket

Came across a mini size dog which we couldn’t tell whether it was real or fake until we touched it and felt the warmth. Up to now, Stepf is still confused thinking that it was a toy though -.-

Photobucket

糖葫芦 my favourite! The strawberries in Taiwan are fresh and juicy!

Photobucket

Bowling after night market.

Photobucket

During which I broke my fingernail, like I always did.

Photobucket

金莎,Hsiang Kai’s pet poodle that can really jump.

Photobucket

We can haz cute boxers! XD

Photobucket

It was 4pm by the time we woke up the next day. Went to this South Park place for our first meal of the day.

Photobucket

High school students were spotted everywhere.

Photobucket

A hospital that embraced temple architecture.

Photobucket

Can’t wait for our food!

Photobucket

BBQ Squid.

Photobucket

With honey mustard sauce. It’s really yummy!

Photobucket

Some kebab-like thingy.

Photobucket

Takoyaki.

Photobucket

Chicken chop and fried sweet potato balls.

Photobucket

The best 豆干 I had which I couldn’t find anywhere else in Taiwan! They must have made it with sweet sauce or something.

Photobucket

Mee-sua, or something. Can’t recall the exact name.

Photobucket

Told ya, Tainan is all about food!

Photobucket

The sky was dark by the time we finished eating.

Photobucket

Photo with each of them before leaving Tainan.

Michael the fatty.

Photobucket

Hsiang Kai our kind Tainan host.

Photobucket

Gimmy, his hensem 15-year-old brother.

Photobucket

And Peter the 17-year-old, why is everyone so young?!

Photobucket

One last photo at the train station before we bid farewell to Tainan.

Photobucket

Stay put for more updates on my Taiwan trip! :)
