Big-eyed Dolly

Have you seen my new Facebook profile pic? Neh, It’s right there on my side bar! OMG look at my eyes! Damn big and chio right? In fact my whole face looks fabulous because I did skin whitening, put on a pair of humongous contact lens+fake lashes and dyed my hair gold! And it’s not even plain boring gold cause there’s some orangey highlight also. Now I’m a super kawaii dolly bitch that everyone loves!



I think I’m falling in love with the new version of me. Yea right. If only I can achieve that kinda look for real. Well, you didn’t quite buy that, did you? No I did not do skin whitening (got such thing meh?) nor put on huge lens and fake lashes. And of course I didn’t dye my hair gold! I would love to dye it blue, or maybe purple some day but right now my hair is dried and damaged. So obviously, all I did was a little bit of photo editing (if you consider that a little bit). Oh by the way, I reshaped my jaw line and made my face thinner. LOL!

I can have black and silky hair if I want to! But because every Asian is born with black hair, we kinda got bored of it hence took it for granted. Ok, maybe some of you are blessed with natural dark brownish hair. It’s still in the black category. Teehee. But there are only few people who have black, and I mean those black black, really black natural hair. Only can get that kinda effect through colour dye. Pfft.

I even edited a photo of Hik and I. Hika-chan looks so kawaii! I transformed him from a sepet man to big-eyed pouty boy. HAHAHAHAHAHA. Do you think the hair is weird though? I didn’t know what colour to choose so simply picked blue. I posted this on fb and someone asked whether we’re playing Barbie and Kent XD

Gawd I’m so addicted to the photo editor. It’s way simpler and more straight forward than Photoshop. I think I’m gonna start editing every single picture before posting them up. Now I can never look back at the original photos again. So fugly and embarrassing. Seriously, and I thought I was pretty all along! What a shame. Jeez.

Through My Window Banner Concert Audition

The last time I sang infront of the others was during a karaoke session with my classmates at Neway.



Have you ever realized that each of us have our own different styles of singing? Some sing with expressions that reflects the emotions.



Whereas some prefer to stand on the sofa and yell like mad.

Whichever way it is, I believe that most of us are blessed with musical talent, some just awaiting to be discovered. But what if no one around you seems to appreciate your talent? What if no one believes in your potential to be a rock star? Fret not, for you’ll be getting your chance to be recognised real soon! everyoneconnects.net is organizing their Banner Concert audition:

Location: The Orange Entrance Area - Sunway Pyramid
Dates: 31st October and 1st November
Time: 12 - 6 PM

Go ahead and amaze them with your voice! Or better still if you have your own band. All you have to do is to sing your own version of “Through My Window”. Chosen individuals/bands will be joining their big event on 21st November, at the same time, gain publicity through the website.

Jen's Birthday @ Dave's

Last month, we celebrated Jen’s birthday at Dave’s located at 1U. Hik and I went earlier to shop around, and I was really hungry that time so we went to Sushi Zanmai. He was a bit reluctant at first, cause he wanted to wait for dinner. But I couldn’t shop properly with an empty stomach! *sulk*

Why was the conveyer belt empty??? Jeez.

The food there was rather pricey. But one thing worth ordering is this half meter pizza. Quite cheap actually if it’s shared among a few people. There were even left over! Jeez.



It was still early after dinner, so we decided to go for a drink at TTDI Plaza.

The design of the place (shit I forgot the name. anyone knows?) was quite chio. Instead of normal couch, they put up these bird-nest-thingy for you to sit or lie on. There were a few bars around too. Quite a comfy hang out place.

Remember the other day when I mentioned the song I overheard on the radio? Thanks to a few people, I found the full version and even the lyrics on everyoneconnects.net! When I heard it playing on that website, I was like, yes, this is the song! It’s called Through My Window. You must listen to it if you haven’t done so! The website even allowed us to download the song and the lyrics. Awesome.



One thing that puzzled us, who are the singers of the song? They sound pretty much like Green Day, All American Rejects, Boys Like Girls and other rock bands. But why didn’t they just reveal it? Why would they keep us in suspense with this mysterious song? I wondered when they would reveal the singers and stop keeping us wondering in the dark. Meanwhile, I’ve seen a few bloggers talking about the song. Seems like I’m not the only one yea?

Later on, when I visited the site again, I saw three pixelated photos. It’s the band who sings Through My Window!



A band that consists of 4 guys.



They look local, don’t you think?



The whole unknown-singers-behind-the-catchy-song thingy had somehow caught my interest. In order to follow the update, I decided to join their Facebook Fan Page. It’s amazing that in such a short time, they’ve already gathered more than one thousand fans! There were a few Youtube videos of the song, as well as some related blog posts posted on the page.

They even set up a Friendster Fan Page! You kidding me? It has been ages since I last logged into my Friendster. Abandoned it long ago, so didn’t bother to go back there. But anyway, I guess their Facebook page is way more happening (because cool people like us are using Facebook XD).

So today, the band is finally revealed! It turns out that the rumours were right. The singers are none other than Bunkface, a talented local band. Here’s one photo of them. Cute right???



The campaign is officially launched today! It’s being advertised on TheStarOnline. I even saw it on MSN’s website when I signed in today. In one of the banners, it promotes the Banner Concert Audition event which attracted my attention. Contestants can attend the audition and sing a version of Through My Window. The best video will be chosen to run on online portals! Aren’t you excited for their upcoming events???

Malacca Trip 2 - rocking the night

I was browsing through my old albums. Saw a photo taken in Aloha Club months ago. It suddenly struck me that I FORGOT TO BLOG ABOUT MALACCA CLASS TRIP PART 2 AND 3!!! OMG why didn’t anyone remind me??? This is Part1, click to refresh your memory. My draft for Part2 had been prepared half way. So now I’m gonna continue with that. Have to show you our nice photos no matter what!

Every place is not too far from each other, so we decided to walk, and at the same time, to do some sight-seeing.

After dinner, we went back to Tang’s House and get dressed up for club. Thanks to Zi Khai who drove up from Muar in order to bring us there. Or else we probably wouldn’t be able to find our way there. William tagged along too. That’s him, the fat one XD

We wore devil horns! Bought them from the jonker street. Can’t remember how much, but they were very cheap for sure.



The club in Malacca was rather disappointing though. Unlike in KL, there were bands singing on the stage throughout the entire night. DJ songs were played only during a few intervals. Worse of all, there was this very disgusting akua (tranny) dressing up like a girl and singing on the stage! Yea, that’s him in black. He wore other revealing outfits too, but I was too grossed out to capture the sights.



While the freak was singing, we were having our own good time drinking.



Until we finished a few buckets and the whole bottle. LOL.



However, it was the only time when all of us could club together. So we couldn’t have gone back without first having fun on the dance floor!



Noticed those two drunkards? Don’t they look like they’re fighting over who was more drunk? Our yumcha session was rather embarrassing, as Ben wouldn’t stop yapping in a drunken state. He kept going on and on and we had this urge to slap him hard on the face just to make him stop.



The moment we reached Tang’s House, the guys were all knocked out. Look at these two! Aren’t they cute? LOL! I kept trying to figure out what they looked like. Any idea???



In a sweaty and smelly state, the guys just went to bed without changing! I don’t understand, how could anyone sleep with their jeans on?



OMG. Did you see that???



From a different angle. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Ben was sleeping with his underwear exposed! Gawd!!! I burst out laughing on the spot. The next day when we questioned him, he told us that he fell asleep while trying to change. WTF? How long does it take to get off a pair of pants? How could he have dozed off in the process?! What if he took off his pants and underwear and then fell asleep, resulting in me or any other girls catching the breathtaking horrifying view?


Didn’t I say that I would highlight that photo on my blog? Poor old Ben, he attempted so hard to delete it but to no avail! XD

Hus Da Queen Naw?

WTF is wrong with me? I have been nothing but a lazy sucker these few days. Eat, sleep, online, watch anime is all that I do. First A2 paper starts on 28th October, which indicates that there are exactly 8days before I face my doom. Gawd, why can’t time just skip pass it and let it be over? To be honest, I have no motivation at all right now. Compared to how I once used to be, I’m no longer putting my 100% of effort into all these. But subconsciously, the daily stress has been haunting me in my dream. What stress, you ask? A girl like me who FB everyday shouldn’t be having any stress, no? But there was this night when I had a nightmare of getting my result cert. 1A 2B. At that moment, my world was collapsing. I thought my life was over. Thank goodness it was a dream. But at this rate, it’s not unlikely to happen to me huh. Judging by the way I plurk while doing my revision.


I’m not really the type who rants on a blog post. I mean, if I go on and on about how stressful my life is, you’re gonna be stressed up reading right? What’s the point of making everyone’s life so unhappy? So, I’ve decided. This post is gonna be a mixture of my random thoughts and a few happenings of the past events! Ha, how does that sound? First of all, I shall show you a very happy photo of me taken during Artistry at Quattro.



I promised to blog about the event, but I’m just way too lazy to upload all the photos. They’ve been posted onto my facebook though. I wonder, why is there no html code provided by FB, like Photobucket and Flickr’s application? I could just copy and paste it into my blog entry! Wouldn’t that make my life easier?

Moving on. Yummy cheesy macaroni in Secret Recipe! Unlike certain restaurants, they’re not kiam siap with the ingredient as there’s a sufficient amount of prawn and mushroom. In fact, it’s a rather big portion so if you’re not a big eater, it would be advisable to find someone to share with you. After all, it’s quite gross to consume that huge portion of cheesy food. I’ve forgotten when the photo was taken. It was probably during one of our regular lunch outings with classmates. To celebrate the end of our trial exam, if I’m not mistaken.

Oh, there are a few things and a few people in my mind that I wanna blog about! But, it will take like ages when I start bitching a discussion on a certain topic/fella. Next time alright? Wait till exam is over and when I finally have time to sit down and blog. (No I’m actually not sitting down while blogging now. I’m lying down, that’s why. Wtfreak) I’m contemplating which to blog about first. Whichever that enables me to shine as a bitchier wiser individual. HAHAHAHA.

Taken on the day of Cloudy with a Chance of Meatball movie screening. Noticed my dark eye bags as the result of having to wake up early. I invited a few bloggers along. Sorry for those who are working, as the screening starts at 10.30am.



With Jackie, Flora and Kristine at Sushi King. Howard did not join us because he doesn’t like sushi. Either that, or he wants to keep JunJun-riko and CathyC all for himself. Dude?? (kindly insert my tone into your imagination)



Unagi FTW! Noticed the grease dripping? Screw calories! Fattening and unhealthy food are FTW! LOL.



Those aren’t fake lashes, you bitches. My long natural eyelashes. Tsk tsk. It takes a lot of effort to have them all curled up though. And most of the time the curl doesn’t last. Help!

The background exemplifies perfectly as my emotions. Foolish, nasty, yet unpredictable. Each time I trampled, yet never once succumbed to their reign. Guys Emotions, resemble nothing but fleas. They hurt, but never kill.

That Song

How often do you guys listen to the radio? Along the car journey back and forth from your office, during a mundane Sunday afternoon or even when you go jogging? Who says you can’t listen to the radio while jogging? I believe everyone’s phone has the radio function. Just plug in your ear phone and the aerial will eventually connect you to any frequency you desire. Personally, my favourite radio channel is none other than Hitz.fm which I tune in to each time I enter the car (well, except there are times when the same old advertisements are aired repeatedly, I would then switched to whichever channel that plays my favourite songs).

I remember when I was young, the radio used to be switched on almost every afternoon. Lazing on the sofa while listening to the peaceful songs on the radio - nothing could be more blissful for me at that point of time. Sometimes, the DJs would tell silly yet funny jokes which caused me to chuckle unintentionally. Occasionally, I would be amazed by the prizes they were about to reward the callers. As a kid, I was pretty sure that they would disqualify me from taking part. Still, I was tempted to dial the number. One day, my cousin and I decided to give it a try. The line was extremely busy and we did not manage to get through. Alas, our mission failed miserably as we got caught by grandma after several attempts.

“Stop playing! The phone bill is expensive!” she would shout at us in mandarin with a little mixture of Hokkien.

Those were the days when listening to the radio is one of our favourite pastime. Now, with the innovation of MP3 player, the radio is no longer the priority. Who wants to listen to the DJ’s blabbering and the hear-me-buy-me commercials when you can actually make the most of Britney’s entire album on your iPod? Perhaps, if you like the Gotcha morning session which you can’t buy from anywhere else, then I can understand why you chose fm rather than iTunes. For some people like me, we are aware of the existence of certain songs because of the radio. The first time I heard Taylor Swift’s “Love Story” was from a radio channel (during which it gave me an impression that the song was sung by Hannah Montana XD). Now to think about it, I prefer Love Story so much better than The Climb.

As usual, I overheard a new song on Hitz.fm today which goes something like this:

I didn’t catch the song title and I have absolutely no idea who the singer is. Google doesn’t seem to work this time. I wonder when the song is going to be aired again on the radio. Well, not like I listen to the radio all the time. So it seems like I’m gonna miss it again. Jeez. Has anyone heard the song yet? Tell me if you know the singers! I need to figure it out! Pfft.

EPL Fever

Greetings from Genting Highlands! Right now I’m working at the VIP Casino, feeling really bored and sleepy so I decided to write this. Yes, I’m that lifeless. Woke up at 12pm today and saw 1 missed call from Joyce. Apparently her brother was looking for a replacement to work at the Casino. Easy job, just help the guests key in stuff for the EPL lucky draw. I regretted for not bringing along my notes. Could have fully utilised my time to do some revision. FML! The good thing is, I get to wear this new Arsenal jersey and camwhore in the super nice toilet. Whereas the bad thing is, there’s a nice couch here yet I can’t sleep! Argh. Dinner time is 8pm. I wonder how u’m gonna suffer through these few hours.



There are 4 questions in the machine regarding the English Premiere League:
-Guess the top match for this week. (i.e. Arsenal vs Chelsea; home win, draw or away win)
-Guess the top 4 teams for this season. (arrange Champion, 1st runner up, 2nd runner up, 3rd runner up accordingly)
- Guess the top player for this season. (Fernando Torres?)
-Guess the top winning team for this season. (Do you think MU will win? Jeez.)



I don’t know about the match that well, even though sometimes Hik forces me to watch ESPN with him. Such a sucker. I don’t even want to watch the entire boring game! The only part I’m interested in is the highlight of the match. That’s the whole point after all. How could someone sit in front of the tv and waste time while waiting for them to score??? Worse still if the match comes to a draw!

Anyway, the journey here was a disaster. The supervisor was driving so fast all the way up as if he’s starring in some Japanese drifting series. I felt that I was gonna puke, especially after one large McValue meal in McD. Dizziness started to creepy in. I tried my best to ignore all the illness I felt in both my head and my tummy. What a relief when we finally reached the hill top!



How nice it would be if I had a Blackberry with unlimited broadband access now! I could online and tweet and do whatever possible to kill my boredom. Tried to access the internet through GPRS but it costs me a lot! Worse still, my battery is running low. Thank goodness I managed to borrow a charger from the receptionist. They looked quite lansi, and I think they’re really lansi. Wtfreak. Gawd, how much I miss my lecture notes right now! Without them, I feel empty and aimless. I need to continue my revision for Accounting! I need to complete the past year questions! All these while I have been leaving them aside and taking them for granted. But right now, I wish they were here, right here to accompany me throughout the boring day.

Oh oh, a guy named Gary (a tall guy with black-framed specs, kinda cute but strict, so. . uh uh XD) who’s in charged of the job confronted me.

Gary: Didn’t anyone tell you not to wear your jacket while you’re working?

But the fact is, it wasn’t even a jacket in the first place. It was my new plain white shirt from Topshop, which looks like a lab coat when I wear it over my jersey, resulting in me looking smart (probably twice smarter than his black-framed glasses). So for a moment, I had an urge to tell him that it wasn’t a jacket but a shirt, so he should rephrase his question to: “Didn’t anyone tell you not to wear a shirt while you’re working?” HAHAHAHAHAHA. Okay, that’s really funny, but definitely wouldn’t be funny if I really said it to him. He wouldn’t be bothered to appreciate my pathetic sense of humour X(

Here are two photos I took with the other 4 girls in the hotel room. We were separated during work, each assigned to one specific casino. As they’re working for one whole week (and some even a few months), they would be spending their nights there, while I chose to head down to KL straight after work.

Winter Bar Experience

Greetings from Quattro Winter Bar!



It was the day when Artistry Press Conference was going on. No I did not go for the press conference. Instead, I decided to shop in KLCC with Hunt and Cocky. The moment we descended from the LRT, Hik called and asked me to hurry to Quattro to get goodie bag. Damn kacau la him, people wanna go shopping XD

They gave me 2 Lenka’s CD in the goodie bag. How come I didn’t get Boys Like Girls’??? Jeez. Instead of heading straight to KLCC, the three of us decided to pay a visit to Winter Bar. Apparently all the artists and reporters were there having some kinda interview session, but we managed to sneak in without anyone’s notice.



It says no entry but, oh well, screw it! LOL.



See, lying down on the faux fur coated couch some more. Damn syok.



It was my first time to the winter bar (damn suaku yala) and I insisted that we stayed in longer to take more photos. But it was negative (how many again?) degree! After a few minutes or so, my nose was feeling numb. I could feel my entire body freezing in the tiny little bar.



The ice we were sitting on were wet, hence my awkward position. I was worried that it might soak through my whole jeans, but I couldn’t help sitting there and posing for the camera.



I must say we had heck lots of fun sneaking into that place. Short as it seems, it gave me a moment of joy and excitement (ROFL always so happy when I do something bad. Wtfreak). Eyu, you should have joined us! XD More photos on Artistry at Quattro Autumn Club soon!

Westin EEST

Thanks to Katie’s voucher, Hikaru and I had a dining experience at Westin Hotel. Out of a few restaurants in the hotel, we chose EEST for Dim Sum Brunch. RM88++ for a dim sum buffet, will you pay for it?



It must be pretty reasonable if you’re a rich bloke. Imagine a rich boy waking up at 12pm realizing that his maid had forgotten to make lunch. “Let’s have dim sum at Westin! It’s RM88 for buffet style! Damn cheap.” he texted his girl.

Furthermore, Westin is located opposite Pavilion, where they had planned to shop after a hearty meal.



Upon arrival, they were served a welcome dish.



They ordered a variety of dim sum from the menu, each presented with a sophisticated name. The girl was vain hungry. She remembered to take photo of herself but not the menu.



Due to her forgetful nature, the supposedly “something-phoenix claw-something” shall be called the chicken feet.

Sio bi (or you call it siu mai) is a must-have. See the fish roe on top? XD



Hika-chan loves siu mai. But I’ve kinda developed a phobia towards it ever since the end of Standard 3, when I ate 8 siu mai continuously for a few days. I thought I love it a lot. The last day I ate, I threw up in the rubbish bin. So much for being greedy.



Har kao (prawn dumpling?) is also a must-have! Nothing beats a good bite of fresh prawn.

We were really full after eating the main dishes, but still, we ordered all five of the desserts stated on the menu.



Turned out that they come in very small portion after all. So we ordered more. LOL.



I was having fun poking the spoon on “Kimochi”, thinking that it looks like a testicle that would never burst. Hik said the surface does look like his balls. Wtfreak.



Pisang goreng and teh tarik ice-cream. So Malaysian.



Rating: 7/10. Extra point for the desserts. Teehee. But I still prefer those cheap and delicious road side dim sum stall.

Zi Li's Farewell

Edited: MrHik is very proud of his new jersey so he asked me to include him in this post. Moreover, Arsenal scored 6-2 in the match just now. All the fans must be cheering now! XD

So a few weeks back then, Zi Li who was flying to UK organized a farewell party with red jersey dress code.



Why Arsenal? Because Zi Li has been supporting Arsenal all the while. And I’m quite fated with Arsenal. See, he must be really happy standing in between two Arsenal babes. XD



Not surprising that some people violated the dress code. LOL.
